Camp UNGANA

Imagine yourself on a secluded island surrounded by the bluest waters & abundance of marine life with views of distant mountains & vibrant colouredsunsets.. Sitting under coconut palms with sand between your toes and the calling of the drum in the air!!!

Camp Ungana – a 6 night African Drum & Dance Retreat on the Gili Islands, where people join together & connect through rhythm to make amazing thingshappen..

African master Sibo Bangoura will be leading the group in African rhythm & dance for the absolute beginner to advanced drummer..

Born into a Griot family (musician) from Guniea Africa, Sibo has travelled the world sharing his talent & knowledge for African rhythms.

All students will be exposed to up to 4 hrs of drumming tuition per day with daily African dance tuition to build a solid performance piece for the student performance night at Apache Reggae Club Kuta Bali. Students will feel satisfaction in performing to raise money for marine conservation and giving back to the Indonesian community.

This is a private event closed to the public. Public participation is welcomed at the performance night & free drum circle day.
